I think gambling addiction has the same symptoms as stimulant drug addiction.

An old friend of mine had a boyfriend who was younger than me.

On the surface, he was easy to talk to and a very nice guy.

But he loved gambling so much.

Pachinko and horse racing were fine.

The amount of money you can lose at a casino is on a whole different level.

Even so, he was having so much fun that he would happily talk about his gains and losses.
