A home hacks queen has come up with an ingenious trick for wrapping Christmas presents without using paper.

Chantel Ibbotson, who goes by Mama Mila, used just a tea towel and some ribbon to gift wrap the bottle of wine in a simple and stylish way. 

The mum-of-two uses tea towels instead of wrapping paper and tape that will go straight in the bin as it is more sustainable and acts as two gifts in one. 

She starts by laying the tea towel flat with the pattern facing down, folds it to make an even square, then folds again in half diagonally to make a triangle. 

Chantel wraps the bottle in one half of the triangle then folds the other half in a fun zigzag pattern.

She tops the gift off with a personalised name card and secures everything together with a matching ribbon. 

Chantel said the end result looks 'so cute' and creates 'zero paper waste'. 

Thousands were impressed with the 'beautiful' and 'waste free' wrapping technique and were keen to try it for themselves this festive season after the mum shared it syair hk hari in an online video.











Chantel folds the tea towel into a triangle, wraps the bottle with one half and makes a fun zigzag pattern with the other. She then secures the tea towel around the bottle with a ribbon

'This is such a good alternative to wrapping paper! Love it, everyone is getting a tea towel gift now,' one woman said. 

'This is amazing! Totally wrapping all of my gifts this way now,' another wrote.  

'What a beautiful way of doing it!' a third added.
