The code will not appear without the additional information supplied by other sensors (G4 or G40).
It's a bit tricky to test because there are various connector pins, and each has its own functions. The most effective method to test it is to measure the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. If the sensor is functional, it should read approximately 1000 ohms. Check for signs of coolant, or oil in the connector bay if there are issues with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, when accelerating from highway paytoll at maximum speed I noticed a significant reduction in power. It was as if the engine was running out of gas. Or, my injectors were not firing. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning, three were soaked in gasoline, and the fourth was dry. When i crank the engine with no sparks, I put a piece of tissue on top of each injector hole and the 3 drenched with gazoline leap out, however the 4th one stays closed. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55,30/55 and 48/55 i get zero ohm. Therefore, i think the issue is in another place.
I also tried to reset PID but without success. The car is able to start when the G28 is disconnected and it runs perfectly when it is connected however it is experiencing intermittent misfires at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for the coolant (G62) shows the wrong temp value that is -49c even after unplugging it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar while the actual pressure is zero.
I'm not sure what to do. I think I've all other possibilities out. I'm afraid i may have missed something. Please let me know If you have any suggestions! TIA!
